The project involves the upgrading and enhancement of the building
complex and its relationship to the urban context. Ponzini’s idea
is to maintain the historical building, while creating a new structure
that serves as the headquarters of the municipal offices. It involves
the construction of a series of residential buildings. The office
building has an irregular shape and takes up three floors, starting
from an underground level below street level. The second floor has
a large roof garden. The municipal police headquarters are located
inside the building, as well as the public works and territorial offices,
marked and divided by two separate entrances. An auditorium is
placed on the top floor.
