Tower by the Po River

Piacenza

For this competition Ponzini has taken inspiration from the Moscow
Tower designed by Melnikov as an example of kinetic architecture,
and has created a building with a central circular body
to include spiral staircases and an elevator. Around this central body
the project proposes five floors capable of rotating as a unit, like a
propeller. The materials with which the building is conceived are steel
and glass.
